EPIC - The most vital component of my cockpit. Without this amazing tool none of this would be possible for me. This tool allows for complete hardware interfacing and custom orchestration of all interface elements such as switches, lights, relays, digital readouts, analog gauges, and more. Visit the Flight Link or R&R Electronics web site for more information about this invaluable tool.

Project Magenta Glass Cockpit Suite - This amazing software is what brings my Flight Deck into the 'Next Generation'. Included are the ADI, ND, EICAS, FMS CDU, and MCP. All these interact with each other to form a highly technical instrumentation system. To learn more, visit theProject Magenta web site.

EPICINFO.DLL & FSUIPC.DLL - Written by Peter Dowson, this tool is a Windows  joystick driver replacement designed to tightly interface with the EPIC. It allows Windows to 'see' all buttons and analog inputs supported by EPIC. There is documentation on many advanced interface options for Microsoft's Flight Simulator. Included in this package is a custom 'module' for MS Flight Simulator which allows real-time data extraction directly into EPIC (airspeed, altitude, lights on, gear down, etc)! This opens up MANY possibilities for an interactive cockpit. There are many more features in this tool which are explained in great detail within the fantastic documentation included in his package. Just the documentation alone is incredibly valuable for cockpit building! All available HERE.

EMDA - Designed by Ted Deller of CSI Cockpit Simulations, this tool is a must for any serious cockpit builder using EPIC. Epic Modular DistributionArchitecture is a circuit board designed to make wiring the EPIC a breeze. EMDA allows you to keep conventional wiring from switches and lights to a minimum. These boards can be mounted almost anywhere and connect to EPIC via ribbon cable instead of fabricating extensive wire harnesses. With their modular design they are interchangeable also. For a much better description visit  Cockpit Simulations web site.
