OK, so I decided to go all out and buy a full size Flight Deck. I want this project to be as realistic as my budget will allow and I need REAL parts. These two requirements mix like oil and water. Jet aircraft parts are VERY expensive, so how am I going to get any? It took several years of digging to locate anything I could afford. Fortunately many parts are interchangeable between the B727 and B737 such as control columns and Korry lights. B727 resale parts are getting fairly common in the USA and are much cheaper than B737 parts. So, I purchased what interchangeable parts I could find and saved my money for the large B737 purchases such as the Throttle Pedestal. Ninety nine percent of the time my calls to parts resellers led to cost induced dead ends, but every once in a while I would find a "bargain".
